These pigments act by dispersion and dull the soaps so do not use them if you are thinking of making transparent glycerin soaps. They work perfectly with the white glycerin base.

To use them it is advisable to dissolve a small part of the dye in water or alcohol 96º. Both ingredients are crushed in a mortar until a kind of paste is achieved. With this advice you will be able to break the color particle and the pigment will dye more. The result: a more intense color and no specks of undispersed dye in the soap.

When the dye and alcohol are well integrated, add to the melted glycerin soap base and mix. These dyes are concentrated, so with very little amount you can dye a lot of soap. They spread a lot and are very profitable.
